Catapult

Today I made a catapult inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci. I created my own catapult because I wanted to see the distance that the piece of paper will go.

To make the catapult you will need...

A salt bottle or a pepper can or just a sylinder thing that you can find in your house.

Plastic spoon.

Tape

scrunched up paper.

Grab your cylinder thing, as you can see in the image I have used a pepper shaker. Use your tape and stick it to your cylinder object. Put the scrunched up paper on the side of the spoon and hit the handle. This will launch your scrunched up piece of paper through the air.

Then you are done with your catapult.

  1. Hi Francisco,

I like how you used simple things that can be found around the house! I wonder what would travel the furthest - a piece of paper or something else? What do you think?
