Information Report on India

 

Task description: For this task I had to create an information report on a country that a staff member would like to go to or visit. I chose India because that is where Ms Amy would like to visit. I had fun researching about India because I never knew that there was over 1 billion people living in India. I found many facts about India. 

Turning Statements into Rhetorical Questions

 

Task description:

For this task we had to make change these statements then changed the questions in to rhetorical questions. These rhetorical questions took me about 5 minutes to complete.

My Olympic Report

Task Description:

For this task I watched One Minute - One Sport then created a report on the selected sport. I chose soccer so I was buddies with Zion. This task took 2 or 3 days to complete.

Task description:For this task I had to create a google draw or a google slide then made a holiday highlight. I made my holiday highlights with Zion.

Food groups

 

Task description: For this task we had to make a information report on either food groups, food pyramid and food and health. We also had to add pictures and questions.

Task description: For this task I was given a set of "Tell sentences" and had to make a "Showing sentence" for the given sentence.

Today for Literacy Daily 5 I was reading a "Sir Douglas Mawson Biography" book. I made a table of what my biography is going to look like and what I will be when I grow up. I have so many choices to be when I grow up so that is why I have lots of choices. There is 2 different biography writings but my one is the one on the right.

Fishy False Teeth *really disgusting*

 Today for Summer Learning Journey I watched the video of the Fishy False Teeth. Then I had to read a text called ‘Practical Joker Admits To Faking Story of Dentures From The Deep’. I learnt to not play jokes on people and to treat others the way you want to be treated.

This work today was a little bit challenging because there were some words that I didn’t understand in the text. I thought ‘upper plate’ was talking about plates on top but my mum told me it was referring to the upper plate of teeth. The video was fun to watch and I enjoyed the comic part as well.
