Task description:For this task I had to help John again with some more research on kiwi but this time on kiwi diet/favourite foods. It was hard because there were words that I didn't understand.

Task explanation: For this task I had to help "John" with his research on kiwis. It was really fun because I was reading the websites and finding many things about kiwis.

Task description:For this task I had to complete these slides about different sites that could be legit or fake. This task made me think very hard because some f the sites were legit but they were also fake.

Where I'd rather be

 

Task description: Today I completed this weeks cybersmart task. I had fun doing this task because I had to take several photos and tried to match the statue. The statue behind me is called the "Christ the Redeemer". How did I do this?. I used the photo in the background then used Remove.bg to remove the background. After that was done, I took my picture and did the exact same thing. 

Guess who I bumped into

 

Task description: I was walking to a nearby soccer pitch to find Cristiano Ronaldo. We had a good time. Well technically I didn't meet him but I used remove.bg but I would love to see him. 

24 hour footprint

 

Task description:For this task we had to get images from google and look back at our history, then had to put the icon of the site. After adding the icon, we had to add footprints leading to other sites.

Task description: For this task I had to create a scratch about matariki. This task was done in our cybersmart. The picture above is a link to view my progress.

Cybersmart Challenge: Term 1 Review

 

For today's cybersmart challenge was a review on Term 1's cybersmart challenges. For this task I had to drag the "complete" text box above the finished cybersmart challenges that I have completed.

Sailing Animation

 

Task Description: For this task we had to make a presentation animation. We used the duplicate slide function to make little movements and then publish to the web to embed the code. However, we needed to hack the code so that it moved than 1 second.

My Americas Cup Animation

 

Americas Cup is a boat racing sport going on here in Auckland New Zealand. The most recent Americas Cup race was yesterday. The team were Emirates Team New Zealand vs Luna Rossa (Italy). New Zealand had one the final leg. The race was held in Mission Bay.

Cybersmart challenge week 5

 

For this weeks task I had to draw something, paint something and make a model but I only had to choose 1. I chose to draw something but my drawing was just a quick drawing of a cube with a cross and a triangle. I chose something simple so I did not have to waste time trying to draw something difficult.

Where I'd rather be

 

This is the task that Mr Goodwin set up on our class site. 

We were learning about how to create images with transparent backgrounds. He showed us two websites that were helpful. 

We had to put our picture and insert an image of a place where we would rather be than in lockdown. I chose Brazil.

Quality Blog Commenting

 Today for Summer Learning Journey one of the things we have to do is to post quality blog comments on other peoples blogs. I had a look on the twitter feed and I found Aaliyah G's post about a catapult that she made. Here is my comment on her blog

When I was writing my comment with her blog I used the quality blog comment sentence starters to help me. This is how I know that my comment is POSITIVE THOUGHTFUL and HELPFUL because I used a sentence starter from each of the colours (green, yellow, blue). This is a really good poster and I am going to try and use it when I am commenting on people's blogs. I asked my mum to check it before I posted it to make sure that it made sense to other people.

2.Feel
Feel at home. Felling you are with family. Feel means that you are feeling nice to someone.

3.Balance
Balance your time on a device. Balance the teams. When it is your first time on a bike with no training wheels, balance the bike.

4.Listen
Listen to your teacher. Listen to your family. Listen to other peoples comments.

5.Stand
Stand up for your self. Stand up for your siblings. Stand up for other people. Stand if it is your turn to do a speech.
