Task description:For this task I had to help John again with some more research on kiwi but this time on kiwi diet/favourite foods. It was hard because there were words that I didn't understand.

Task explanation: For this task I had to help "John" with his research on kiwis. It was really fun because I was reading the websites and finding many things about kiwis.

Weetbix cooking

Today I did some baking using Weetbix and some other ingredients. The reason why I did some baking was because we have too much weetbix. We have too much weetbix because I've been collecting the Weetbix Stat Attack Cards. 

I did the baking with my Mum. Here are some of the photos, ingredients and the website.

150g butter, melted

4 Weetbix (crushed)

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1 drop vanilla essence

We even did a contactless drop off to Zion so him and his family could have some of the slice.

Task description:For this task I had to complete these slides about different sites that could be legit or fake. This task made me think very hard because some f the sites were legit but they were also fake.

Auckland Museum Puzzles (Again)

Lockdown description: Today I did another jigsaw puzzle from the Auckland Museum site. There was some confusion but other than that I had fun. I will say that this one is harder than the kiwi.

 

Chocolate Slice

 

Lockdown description: Today I made Ms Wrack's delicious Chocolate Slice with my brother Lv. We made it today because my Mum told us to make something for us to eat together. To make the Chocolate Slice you will need

1/2 a pound of butter

2 tblsp (table spoons) of cocoa

1 tblsp of golden syrup

2 cups of flour

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of coconut and finally

1 tsp (tea spoon) baking powder.

First melt the first 3 ingredients, then add the last 4 ingredients and then bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

It tasted delicious and my rating is 9.5/10.

Where I'd rather be

 

This is the task that Mr Goodwin set up on our class site. 

We were learning about how to create images with transparent backgrounds. He showed us two websites that were helpful. 

We had to put our picture and insert an image of a place where we would rather be than in lockdown. I chose Brazil.

Home learning MATHS! I love Maths!

 For today I did hit the button. I chose to do Square Numbers. It was easy because I know my square numbers and can think of the answers quickly.

I also watched the YouTube video that was linked into our site for our learning today. These are the things that I learnt from the video and I will try and use these in my math learning.

1. Identify:What am I looking for?

2. Strategize: How will I solve?

3. Set up: Write down the math.

4. Solve: Do the math.

5. Check: Check your work.

Work the question backwards.
