Samoan language week

Last week on Thursday 28th May, my Dad, Zion's uncle and someone that I do not even know done a umu. Later on through the day, My Dad and Zion's uncle went to my umu at the back of my house to grabbed plenty of rocks for the umu. When I got to school, the firewood had all ready been put in the umu. Some students helped out with the umu. Right after morning tea, all the classrooms came over to the senior netball court to check out on all the details on the umu. The lunch bell rang and my Dad, Zion's uncle and the other person that I do not even know were still doing the umu. The lunch eating bell rang then me and Lv went to eat some food of the umu and it was delicious to eat. Later on, I came back to class to watch videos on YouTube.

I got a certificate for displaying flair and enthusiasm in sports.

Honey bees

Honey Bees

The honey bees were flying around the hive. It had black and yellow stripes, a pointy stinger and hymenoptera. I had never seen a beehive before. I felt excited and intimidated standing there waiting to get a glimpse of the bees. My friend Spencer looked satisfied and my other friend Rangi looked terrified. Seeing how people get honey for the first time made me realise getting honey was hard. Next time I eat honey, I’m going to think about where honey comes from and look at the ways other people get honey in different ways.

Pepper experiment

We had to use these items for the pepper experiment.

A bowl/plate.

A cup.

Pepper.

Dish washing liquid.

Table.

The experiment showed us how germs get cleaned fast or how germs spread quickly. The texture that we used was great for doing the experiment. The experiment might fail and the experiment might succeed. Scientists have been trying to do a experiment on coronavirus but they fail easily (sometimes). Things I do know about scientists is that when they try a experiment the experiment sometimes fails. 




(For people that might not know what coronavirus is), coronavirus is a disease that many old people can get.
How to get the disease, you get the disease if you, don't wash you're hands often.
Many people get the disease in America and the United Kingdom. 

Mother's Day writing

I see my Mum exercising, running, singing and cooking.

I smell my Mums cooking kitchen.
I feel my Mums arms when she gives me cuddles.
I taste my Mums cooking when she cooks lunch or dinner.
I hear my Mum singing or sometimes I can hear her talking to Room 9 on google meets.
Inside I feel happy when my Mums by my side, tickles me or even when she tells me funny jokes.

I appreciate from my Mum that she helps me out whenever I am stuck. 

I remember my Mum and Dad taking me to get my ears pierced for my 8th birthday (after dance class).

I love my mum.

Math

Today I had another set of math to do from my class site. I had to do lots of math and it was hard to answer all the questions by my self (my Mum did help me with some of the questions). Next I did prodigy for my next set of math.
