Our Ice skating Surprise! Sunday 14 July

My Mum set up a surprise for us and we did not know anything about it. I was feeling excited. On the way to the surprise, we had to guess where we were going. My guess was that we were going to the zoo. 
When we got there, I finally knew it was in the city. When I went in I saw an ice skating rink. There was a night market there too. I looked towards the ice skating rink, soon I saw my cousins from Avondale. The people from Avondale were, Aunty Anita,Aunty Lorna, Jared, Ronan, Imrana, Baby Lorna, Maria and Eli. When Avondale came towards me my Mum went to go move the car because the parking my Mum parked on was on for only half an hour(30minutes). Then when my Mum came and my family and Avondale went ice skating. After I put on my ice skating shoes on, I waited for my Mum to say I can go on the ice. It was my first time ice skating and I did not need the ice walking thing. My Mum said great job son. We even got to go on the slide. That was so much fun.

Zumba

Zumba was amazing and spectacular. I did lots of dancing at Zumba with LV, Mum and Tina. I had lots of fun while I was dancing at Zumba.

The Zumba was at otahuhu (near Dad's bar- Gemini and fresh choice).


I got really exited when I got there. One of the ladies came past me and Tina and said to my sister "Get it girl!". I was so tired.

I went with Tina outside to have fresh air(break). I had a break by myself.

When it was all finished we had to go and pick up my dad. The car I was in was white and black. The car I was in went past my Dad's bar Gemini. 

My green soccer ball

My green soccer ball is round and bouncy. It is a new soccer ball. It has black pentagons and has black lines on it.

Facts:

1. Never use you hands.

2. Always kick the ball.

3. Look before you pass the ball.

4. If you are going to shoot the ball in, look before you shoot the ball.

5. If the ball is coming high, use your head to shoot or pass.

6. Watch out for other players, other players can slide down on the field and tackle.

On the weekend my Mum  and Dad had a ceremony to bless their tatau.

South pacific games

Yesterday, the South Pacific Games started with the opening ceremony in Samoa. 

The south pacific games are, touch rugby, basketball, soccer, rugby, swimming, squash, netball, volleyball, badminton, boxing, karate, athletics, sailing, canoeing, tennis, archery. 

Today, the first games were on. The countries that were playing in basketball were Fiji and Cook island. The score was, Fiji-71 and Cook island 69. Next for bascketball was Solomon Islands and PNG(Papua New Guinea). Up next it was New Zealand and Tonga for soccer. New Zealand-11 and Tonga-0. Next it was Fiji and Niue for rugby, Fiji-18 and Niue-0. 

The south pacific games are hosted in Apia park(Samoa). I hope that Samoa wins lots of prizes.
